Chroma by Patrick Thomas
Chroma is an ongoing and evolving project between Patrick Thomas and Unseen Sketchbooks. The project explores automation and the accidental through a series of projects and publications that are are to be released in advance of a touring exhibition of the works. Processing is used to generate a myriad of possibilities that are presented on the 250 page book, edition prints and RisoGraph tests. The source material is a collection of packaging and printing ephemera collected by Patrick Thomas and interpreted through a series of print process and techniques. The materials celebrate the utilitarian and explore the boundaries of the CMYK printing process.
